Forged steel bar

Forging is a machining method that uses forging machinery to exert pressure on metal blanks to produce plastic deformation to obtain forgings with certain mechanical properties, shapes and sizes. It is one of the two major components of forging (forging and stamping). Through forging, the defects such as loose casting state caused by metals in the smelting process can be eliminated, and the microstructure can be optimized. At the same time, due to the preservation of complete metal streamlines, the mechanical properties of forgings are generally better than those of castings of the same material. Forgings are mostly used for important parts with high loads and severe working conditions in relevant machinery, except for plates, profiles or welding parts with simple shapes that can be rolled.
